ABOUT RNC
Raymond Nally construction was founded in Boston in 1987. Having worked previously in a company involved in condo conversion and remodeling, I decided to make the next step and start my own company. Over the last 25 years, my work has taken me to all corners of the country: from the Hamptons, Florida,Colorado, California, Maryland, Cape Cod, North Carolina, Las Vegas, and Washington DC, to name a few. Reason being most of my customers are repeat customers, some of whom have moved to these areas to reside and/or open businesses, namely restaurants.
In my early years in construction for myself, my work consisted of a lot exterior design, ie: decks, painting etc. As time went by, I found myself more interested in interior work, particularly, kitchen and bathroom remodeling and very detailed finish work, crown moulding cabinetry, built in wall units, staircases, and hardwood floors installation.
A lot of the above work led to another field of work, restaurants finish work ie. bars, service areas, stone work, tile work, especially where I reside presently in Washington DC. To name a few of these restaurants, I had the pleasure of working at Logan Tavern, The Heights, The Pig, Clarke's Restaurant and Grillfish both in Washington DC and in Miami.
If there is one policy I carry in my work, it is " if I price the job, I do the job". I do not use sub contractors to do the work for me, thus adding higher cost to the client. By doing the job myself, I find I pick a lot of ideas when it comes to layout of spaces and the flow of the house and/or apartment. I involve myself very much with my customers, many whom, to this day, are my dearest friends.
If I can relate two things to my work ethic over the years, it would be my insistence on a step by step progress in doing the job. I do not spread the job all over the place and finally, I sincerely believe that "a clean job is a happy job".
